Gardens

Are you proud of your garden? Are your children growing vegetables or flowers in pots or in their own part of the garden? Have you a plant or shrub which has done particularly well this year? Will your vegetable plot be the envy of your neighbours?

As we are unable to have the Debden Open Gardens this year, we thought we could share pictures of our gardens on this page throughout the summer from May to September.
Photos can be general views or close-ups of specific plants or  areas of a garden. How have you and your family made the best use of your garden during the lockdown? Have you been inventive in these unprecedented times? We would particularly like to include pictures of your children’s contributions to the garden!
Don’t worry if you don’t have a garden as It can be a photo of a pot, container or a window box.
To maintain confidentiality and security, all pictures will be loaded to the DEBDEN GARDENS 2020 Facebook page and this website page by us, we will then forward them to the Parish Pump editors, who will make their own selection for each issue of the Parish Pump each month.

You can start to send your photos now. We will place a reminder on this and the Debden Residents Facebook page at the start of each month, so that we can see how gardens are progressing through the summer.
Please send them to:  hilarydavey@btopenworld.com, or message us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/debdengardens2020
We are very much looking forward to your photos – Good Luck!
